Start at the
Canadian border and ride south to St. Louis--generally following the
Mississippi River. This year I will not be riding alone for most of the
way. Mr. Balint (who rode with me around D.C. last year) will ride
as far as Cedar Rapids. It will be cold when we start and hot when I
finish. The full distance should be about a thousand miles--I think.
